Outdoor play equipment
The Haven Centre in Inverness is a £4.1 million purpose-built play centre and respite facility for children and adults with complex needs and disabilities.
It opened in August 2023 after a 10-year campaign led by the Elsie Normington Foundation, which attracted widespread community support.
The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation was pleased to support the creation of this facility with an award of £23,100 to fund accessible outdoor play equipment.
As well as the outdoor facility, there is an indoor play centre, respite flats, community café, meeting spaces and gardens.
The outdoor play space which has been funded by The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation has provided so much fun and laughter and is popular in the sun, rain and snow!
