Tooting Park Rangers is a local grass roots football club invested in supporting the health and welfare of young people in the local community through education and training in team sports. This helps the children stay healthy, develop confidence and personal awareness as well as learning how to work together as a team.
The club is non-profit making and is supported financially by the volunteers that run it. To support inclusivity, subscriptions are lower than all other clubs in London and a financial hardship fund removes barriers for those who cannot afford to pay and would otherwise be unable to participate.
With the investment in ball tracking camera facilities, the club can keep pace with other clubs and, most importantly, help develop the players’ training and game play, with the ambition of providing an equal opportunity for all the players to achieve their dreams of playing football at the highest level. The investment is already reaping rewards as the under 11s won the London County Saturday Youth League Cup in May 2024!
“We are so grateful to Baxters Giving Programme for this donation and enabling us to purchase the camera equipment, which is already making a huge difference in terms of how we analyse skills and adapt our training to support the development of our players. “Our goal is to ensure access to sport locally is accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances, and we are delighted we are able to provide the best possible experience and opportunity for all of our team members.”
