Inverness Support Hub

Victim Support Scotland applied to The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation for support towards the creation of a new support hub in Inverness.

An award of £20,000 helped enable the transformation of an office suite property into a warm and welcoming space in which people affected by crime can access information and support.

VSS is dedicated to helping everyone who is impacted by crime with free, confidential and independent support. The new hub enables that to take place in a safe, discreet and welcoming environment.

It includes three support rooms, a remote evidence suite, staff and volunteer space and accessible amenities.

A bright, modern corridor leading to a welcoming support room. Two large portrait photographs hang on a white wall, while an open doorway reveals a comfortable meeting space with blue armchairs, a sofa, a round coffee table, wood-effect flooring, and a large window providing natural light. The space has a calm, professional atmosphere suitable for private meetings and support sessions.
