Following a successful career with Kleinwort Benson in London, Audrey returned to the family business in 1990, rising through the ranks to her current position as Executive Chairman and Group CEO of W. A. Baxter & Sons (Holdings) Ltd.
Audrey proudly represents the fourth generation of the family to own/manage Baxters and, under her leadership, the business has enjoyed continued success and growth in the UK and overseas.
Alongside her passion for producing high quality food, Audrey is equally passionate about protecting and nurturing the legacy of her forebears. Through her role as Founder of the Baxter Family Charitable Trust, she demonstrates a continued commitment to community and charity in both the North of Scotland and beyond.
Previous non-Executive appointments held by Audrey include The British Growth Fund, First Group plc, the University of Aberdeen, Annington Homes, Broadcasting Council for Scotland and the National Stadium.

A lowlander from Edinburgh, and a lawyer, trustee and company director, Paul is a former partner of law firm Burness Paull LLP and a former Chairman of the Japan Society of Scotland, The Big Issue Foundation Scotland and the Moira Anderson Foundation.
He became acquainted with the many delights of Northern Scotland through his associations, over many decades, with Gordon, Ena and Audrey Baxter. Paul derives enormous pleasure from his service with both the Baxter Family Charity Trust and its associate The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation.
Paul holds a passionate belief in the “big society”: in bringing together family and friends, communities, local government , businesses and charitable enterprises in partnership, to improve the quality of people’s lives across our communities for the benefit of all, a process in which the Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation plays such a vital part through the projects that it initiates and supports

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Sandy spent his career working in practice with Arthur Andersen and 32 years helping to build Johnston Carmichael into what is today Scotland’s largest independent accounting firm.
Following his retirement in 2022, Sandy was appointed to the Boards of three family businesses as a Non-Executive Director including W A Baxter & Sons (Holdings) Limited.
He was appointed by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire in April 2020.
He is also a Trustee of The King’s Foundation, The North Highland Initiative and Chair of Salvesen Mindroom Centre. Sandy sits on the Advisory Board of the University of Stirling where he is an Honorary Professor. He is also a former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, Director of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (Muirfield), former Honorary Dutch Consul for the North of Scotland and Chair of the Development Trust for the University of Aberdeen.

Katy is European Director of Marketing & Ecommerce and fifth generation family member to Baxters Food Group Ltd. and W.A. Baxter & Sons (Holdings) Ltd. Katy is responsible for brand performance across a range of household brands, such as Baxters, Fray Bentos and Garners, product innovation and tastings, consumer-centric communications and promotions, online shopping and premium Baxters hampers.
Katy has a post-graduate MBA in International Marketing and has experience across brand building, consumer behaviour, digital marketing and media disciplines.
Katy plays a key role in the strategic development and implementation of the Baxters Charity Committee activities within Baxters Food Group, in liaison with the Baxter Family Charitable Trust.

George, a native of Huntly, was educated at the Gordon Schools before pursuing further studies at Jordanhill College of Education in Glasgow. He went on to establish a successful career in Local Government. Currently residing in Fochabers, George remains involved in the local community. With a wealth of experience spanning over 40 years in Community Learning and Development, George is passionate about empowering individuals and groups to reach their full potential and enhance the quality of their communities.
He has served as a Board Member of Aberdeen University Hospitals Trust and Grampian University Hospitals NHS Trust and has held leadership roles such as Leader and Convener of The Moray Council. Currently, George is an active member of the Moray Local Action Group, dedicated to local initiatives. In 2014, George joined The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation as a Trustee, taking on the role of Chairman in 2022.

After a hugely successful and rewarding career in banking spanning 43 years, where she held many senior management roles that took her to various locations across Scotland, Margaret retired to her hometown of Elgin in 2012. Very much a “people’s person” she is now heavily involved with various charitable organisations in the Moray area, all of which aim to make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate.
A trustee of The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation since 2014, Margaret is a Deputy Lieutenant in the Moray Lieutenancy, a past president and active member of Rotary Elgin, and Chair and Trustee of the recently launched Moray Community Foundation. This community focused charity has been funded by businesses and individuals from across the Moray area, and is regarded as a fund of last resort, aiming to help those in real need when they face an emergency and have nowhere to turn.
